Somerset West Park

The Somerset West Park has been a site for frequent floods, marshy grasses and water issues for years…all now remedied and improved for access, play, and enjoying the beautiful setting.

This SW Beaverton park includes wetlands, foot bridges, a ball field, nature play and plenty of areas for spreading out on the newly contoured fields, feeding the ducks and rest, relax and repeat time. The paved pathways are fully accessible. Because of the extensive waterway work, the construction activities involved working closely with Clean Water Services and erosion experts to ensure the site employed BMP through completion of the project. Pack a lunch and come to stay!
