Verdell Burdine Rutherford Park

Portland Parks and Recreation awarded the contract of Lynchview Park to Paul Brothers and it’s been a perfect fit for our skills, expertise and workmanship.  The pojrect has included both PPR and PBOT work in the right of way, thereby managing several intersted parties and stakeholders.  The multi-acre site included an overhaul of their existing soccer field with a beautiful new, fully irrigated, and finely graded field.  The play area includes many state of the art climbing features and naturalized elements, including a water feature, picnic shelter, site amenities, new restroom and hillside slide to all ages!  A paved pathway runs the perimeter of the park that helps bridge and connect homes to the park with open and easy access.  It is sure to be a winner with the neighboring children, sports enthusiasts and families.  The project is slated to wrap up Spring of 2020 when weather temperatures rise to allow for placement of rubberized play surface.  The park along with street work was completed for $2.4 million dollars.
