Errol Heights Park
This 15-acre park, nestled in inner SE Portland, is a rare gem. Known by many in this tucked away neighborhood as a beautiful wetland area, the completion of this park by Paul Brothers opens the natural space up for more to enjoy.
After this 18-month construction project wraps up December 2023, the park will boast some gentle miles worth of soft surface trails along the quiet banks of wetlands fed by Johnson Creek, along with fully accessible bridges, overlooks and an elevated walkway. The upper park was carefully designed and created to attract all-comers with all-features: nature play, skate park, splash pad, climbing and slide areas, picnic tables, boulders, benches and even a sport court – all things needed for fun.
The PBI crew completed most of the site work, underground work, drainage improvements, extensive gabion walls and landscaping installation with large grassy areas for play and respite. PBI worked closely with its 12-plus subcontractors, countless vendors, Parks and Recreation directors, Arborists, Environmental experts, Architect and various Portland bureaus to build this show-stopping park.
